The Kona LINK is fully computer designed. Exocet has made sure all the details and shape characteristics are they thought out and accurate to make it an easy entry level performance board. Thanks to the wide nose outline, the LINK is extremely stable for a board that is only 3 meters long and 80cm wide. Exocet has integrated a deep single concave running from the nose gradually converting into a double concave to increase stability in the mast foot area. The wide nose shape is essential and adds to the board's excellent performance. It planes up very early and in sub-planing conditions the nose absorbs the velocity of the chop, generating great top end speed for sailors at all skill levels. Gybes are easy thanks to the soft forgiving rails. This distinctive all-around design does not really require foot- straps.
