Even in TNF black, this distinctly different winter shell design with its uncharacteristic diagonal zipper stands out among most traditional ski and snowboard shell outerwear. If you've ever taken a frozen zipper on the chin, you'll appreciate the functionality that the Reardon Jacket offers, but there are other comfort features that shouldn't go unnoticed. Like some of the best skiing, climbing and hiking jackets from The North Face, the Men's Reardon features a durable two-ply HyVent exterior fabric that's fully waterproof and breathable. The North Face applied seam sealing throughout the outerwear to optimize the weather protection. Pit-zip vents beneath the sleeves feature glove-friendly zipper pulls that allow cool air into the Reardon Jacket without exposing the inner insulating layers to snow and precipitation. Other practical features include an internal ski goggle pocket and a wrist accessory pocket with attached goggle wipe cloth. The waterproof hood is attached to the jacket, but features adjustment features that allow you to customize the fit over most fleece hats and ski helmets.
