Mountain Hardwear used a Micro Climate Zoning design that provides Polartec Monkey Phur Lite fleece warmth along potential cold spots on your torso and Power Stretch panels on the sides, cuffs and hems where you need full range of motion. Keep in mind that the Monkey Woman Lite Jacket isn't a fleece hoodie. The entire fit is tapered and close and the hood is snug enough to double as an insulator beneath a properly-sized climbing or snowboarding helmet. Mountain Hardwear also elevated the pockets so women can access small outdoor and backcountry essentials beneath a climbing harness or backpack. In case you're wondering, this fleece outerwear is also ideal for wearing inside a tent--especially while snow camping.
