While you probably dont even need pit zips, Mountain Hardwear added some to help you vent heat on extra tough climbs. To minimize weight, they applied sonically-welded seams while using waterproof zippers to seal out moisture. In case you wondered, the Kepler Jacket is fully windproof, too. Vapor can escape from the inside, but nothing passes through from the exterior.
